He was able to keep the Yankees off the scoreboard and mostly off the bases, only allowing 3 hits. He did so with excellent command and keeping most balls in play on the ground around the infield. On the offensive side of the field the Melonheads did most of their damage off of the bat of Amir. He belted two home runs, a 2 run in the first and a 3 run in the fourth. Alex hit his second home run in as many games and again it didn’t leave the park. Although this time he split the outfielders and was able to hustle around the bases. The Yankee pitching committee was able to get each batter, except Luanne, guessing with 9 total strikeouts. Player of the Game: Amir Khan |
Aug 11, 2011 Another favorite of mine. If you put him and Achmed on the same team, they'll perform better like the Webber twins. Sadly, the computer doesn't want you putting both on the same team in. Jun 18, 2018 Future iterations of Backyard Sports games allow you to pick athletes to play with the kids, but Backyard Baseball has none of that nonsense. I don’t want my nine-year-old kid playing with Barry.
